About Us
In October of 2004 there were no locally-owned radio stations left in southern NH. Motivated to fill that void, Absolute Broadcasting, LLC acquired WSNH-900 AM (formerly WOTW) and introduced the first all-sports radio station to the region.
Shortly thereafter, the company’s commitment to local programming and greater Nashua was further confirmed when Absolute Broadcasting brought WSMN-1590 AM back on the air. The once well-known station's license to operate was, at the time, in jeopardy of being cancelled, and the acquisition ensured that the city would not lose one of only a few local media outlets.
In early 2006 Absolute Broadcasting also took the first steps towards acquiring WKBR-1250 AM in Manchester, and went on to convert the station’s programming to an all-sports format.
A locally-owned resource committed to strong local programming
Today Absolute Broadcasting, LLC is proud to be airing local sports coverage and talk along with Red Sox Baseball and Patriots football in both the Nashua and Manchester listening areas, and to sharing a passion for and commitment to locally-produced news and programming with the southern New Hampshire listening audience.
Recognizing our social responsibility to the communities we serve, all of us at Absolute Broadcasting will remain steadfast in our mission to consistently deliver high-quality local broadcasting.
